NYCDA Scholarships

Our National Scholarship Audition Tour awarded over $2,000,000 in scholarships for the 2012-2013 school year. NYCDA Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, and may reflect artistic promise and demonstrated financial need:

• The Sanford Meisner Merit Award - based upon talent demonstrated at the audition.
• The Mary Doyle Memorial Scholarship - this award is based upon financial need, as demonstrated on the student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Range of Awards - Awards range from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2000 for the academic year.  Special Provisions - To apply, a student must fill out a FAFSA by the given financial aid deadline of May 1st. These scholarship funds are limited and are on a first come first serve basis. Students must reapply for the following academic year and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students will be selected based upon financial need. Notification - Students selected for this award will receive a financial aid award notice.
