Accelerated, 18-Month Program
The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts is thrilled to announce an Accelerated, 18-Month Conservatory Program. With classes beginning in January 2012, the accelerated program will equip participants with the technical skill and the industry experience necessary to succeed in film and television.
The first two semesters (Platform Year) will allow you to develop your acting instrument and serve as a foundation for more intensive training. Students invited back for semesters three and four (Film and Television Year) will learn to craft their performance for the unique requirements of the camera. You will also have the option to broaden your career opportunities to include the theater with an additional year of training (Theater Year).
Students beginning in January 2012 can graduate as early as May 2013. Admission is by application and audition. Applicants should begin the process immediately to ensure timely consideration.
