The New York Conservatory invites you to our upcoming Open House on Saturday, June 1, 2013.
Open House is a great way to learn more about NYCDA, meet current students, tour our facilities and dorms and/or audition for one of our programs. What a perfect opportunity to share a day with our community here at NYCDA! We hope you can join us.

• Student panel
• Audition (for those interested)

• Tour of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts’ Facilities
• Tour of our student residence in Brooklyn Heights
If you have not already done so, auditions are required to gain entry into the Professional Training Programs (2 monologues required) or to receive scholarship consideration for the Summer Acting Training Program (1 monologue). Click here for information about our audition process. Note: You must be at least 15 years old in order to audition.

NYCDA Becomes Degree Granting!
The NYCDA is now officially a degree-granting institution. NYCDA has received notice from the New York State Board of Regents and NAST (theNational Association of Schools of Theatre) that we have met their standards for a degree-granting institution and that we have received approval for our Film and Television Performance Program as a degree program. NYCDA is now officially a degree-granting institution.
NYCDA offers an Associate in Occupational Studies (AOS) degree program in Film and Television Performance. All newly entering students in Fall 2013 for the Film and Television Performance Program (2-Year) will be on a degree track for an AOS degree. The degree program is listed in the New York State Inventory of Registered Programs.
Students who start in Fall 2013 and in 2014, and who opt for the Film, Television, and Theater Program (3-Year), will NOT be on a degree track, but on the current certificate track.
