NYCDA Graduation 2010
The NYCDA graduation on Saturday May 29th was a massive success for all involved! The class of 2010 made their big screen debut via this year’s hotly awaited Final Reel which played host to a completely sold out house of enthusiastic fans who joined us for a spectacular after-party at the Helen Mills Event Space.

The graduation was introduced by Joan See who spoke eloquently about legendary acting guru Sandy Meisner and the creative process involved with making a film, two topics very close to the heart of NYCDA. Joan’s speech ensured the excited audience were suitably energized to fully appreciate the celluloid magic awaiting on the big screen. Each and every student featured in the Final Reel was absolutely dazzling, not forgetting the hardworking team of 20 professionals pulling the strings behind the scenes. Special thanks are in order for Joan, Alan and Pete for their phenomenal pre-production work.
The party itself was a roaring success and the faculty and staff were completely overwhelmed with such a hugely positive response from parents and students. The entire night was filled with camaraderie, good vibes and great tunes. Everyone was sad to see the class of 2010 move on but we are also extremely excited to prepare the new class for Final Reel 2011!!! Bring it on!!!
