On the Sidewalks of New York
How funny was James Beckstrom the other day? Did anyone else run into him in the hallways after he had seen Gerard Butler on the street? I thought he was going to explode with joy.
Or, how about the second time he ran into Mr. Butler?
Or the third?!!
Frankly, James, I suspect you of stalking Gerard and you should probably expect a restraining order very soon.

Very cool, James!
I just came in running an errand on Fifth Avenue, where I spotted Mario Batali (complete with orange Crocs) walking past the H&M store on the corner of Fifth and 18th. I’ve had quite a few other celeb spottings within about three blocks of NYCDA, including Justin Long, Woody Allen, Billy Campbell, Gilbert Gottfried, Jon Gosselin (celebrity status arguable, oy), Genevieve Gorder from TLC and HGTV, Parker Posey, David Blaine, Mickey Rourke, etc. I also saw Edie Falco in my neighborhood in Astoria when she was shooting “Nurse Jackie,” and Michael J. Fox and Denis Leary shot “Rescue Me” in my old Queens neighborhood. Denis Leary actually came up to ask if he could pet my dog (a greyhound) because he’s a big dog-lover.
Linda (the Registrar) rode the elevator in this building with Faye Dunaway and she’s also seen Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Hawke and Tim Robbins nearby.
Others I know have spotted Ric Ocasek, Aaron Eckhart, Glenn Close, etc. in these parts.
KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED! It’s almost impossible not to run into a celebrity in New York…
