DAVID DEL RIO, currently starring in 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights as “Sonny”, hasn’t forgotten his roots at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Shortly after graduating in 2009, David landed the role of “Felix Garcia” in Nickelodeon’s action-comedy The Troop. He is as versatile as he is busy; he made his TV debut in Law and Order, has worked onstage in Cosi, Rumors and as “John Merrick” in The Elephant Man, has written and directed various short films and is currently writing a feature film. David continues his artistic relationship with NYCDA faculty as a “proud member” of our own Eileen Connolly’s Wallis Knot Theatre Company.
